Redesigning a customer self-service portal and empower customers with complete control.

The business goals of the Self-Service Portal and mobile app are to empower customers with complete control over the services they receive. The portal is created as a white-label solution and can be smoothly integrated with existing systems and perfectly align with website and business needs.

The end user can make enquiries, view their utility services contract, keep track of usage and even modify their tariff plans depending on their preferences. The old portal had to be substantially improved from UX perspective without changing the technology stack behind it.

Process Outline

  • Extensively research the existing portal design and evaluate the parts that need improvements.
  • Create a report with suggestions for improved consistency.
  • Propose solutions for the best user experience.
  • Review and finalise findings with client’s team.
  • Provide a new user interface design mock-ups and complete design system with component-based design.
